William Higginbotham

In Taunton, August 29, 2024, William Higginbotham, age 68, passed away at home following a period of declining health. William was the husband of Lynda (Personeni) Higginbotham. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Donald Higginbotham and Virginia (Smith) Higginbotham. William had resided in Taunton his entire life. He attended Taunton schools and was a graduate of Bristol Plymouth High School. William worked for the City of Taunton until his retirement. He enjoyed playing softball, spending time with family, especially his beloved grandchildren. In addition to his wife Lynda, William leaves his children; Adam Higginbotham, Hope Higginbotham, Tanya Celona, Zachary Higginbotham, Kevin DeMartin, Walter Simoneau, Robert DeMartin, and the late Joseph Howarth. He also leaves his siblings; Linda Miller, David Higginbotham, and Timothy Higginbotham, and his 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Saturday, September 14th from 2-4 pm. Followed by a Celebration of Life Reception.
