Wayne Nickerson Obituary

In Taunton, Wayne V. Nickerson, age 68, passed away peacefully with loved ones by his side on September 28, 2025. Wayne was born in Taunton, the son of the late Clinton Nickerson and Geraldine (Cambra) Millman. He is survived by his loving partner of 41 years, Roberta (Bobbi) Luz. Wayne was educated in Taunton schools, graduating from Taunton High School in 1975. He was a master carpenter, expert antiquer, logger and skilled landscaper. He loved the outdoors, camping and travel (Alaska was his favorite adventure) but often, Wayne enjoyed the simple pleasures of ‘Sunday driving’ any day of the week whether that was going to Plymouth, down the Cape or up North - he liked day tripping. He loved his cats, casinos, Native American Heritage and, most of all, his family. In addition to his partner Bobbi, Wayne leaves behind his children Keith Nickerson and his wife Lynne Nickerson of Palm Harbor, FL, Sarah (Nickerson) Santipadri and her partner Michael Azevedo of West Newbury, MA, Richard (Rick) Moss of Taunton, MA, and Christopher Moss of Attleboro, MA. Wayne is also survived by his siblings Elwin (Barry) Nickerson of Taunton, Dottie Nickerson of Cranston RI and Mark Nickerson, along with several nieces and nephews. Wayne absolutely adored his grandchildren Briana Turpin, Maverick Nickerson, Josefina Santipadri, Sofia Santipadri, Stella Santipadri and his great grandson Weston Cioper. His wake will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Tuesday, October 14th from 2-4 pm. with a funeral home service at 3:30 pm.
