Thomas J Perry

In Fall River, Thomas J. Perry, age 76, passed away at Charlton Memorial Hospital on September 23, 2024 following a period of declining health. Thomas was the husband of the late Bonnie (Mowery) Perry. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Thomas L. Perry and Margaret (Brady) Perry. Thomas had resided in Taunton most of his life and recently when his health declined in Middleboro. He was educated in Taunton schools and worked as an engineer for both the Conrail and Amtrak Railroad. He enjoyed playing sports in his younger years and played later in men’s softball leagues. He also enjoyed fishing, playing keno and scratch tickets, and spending time with family especially his grandchildren. Thomas is survived by his children; Dawnmarie Flanagan and her husband Michael of Middleboro, Beth Resendes and husband Nelson of Taunton, Jennifer Rego and her partner Robert Sylvia of Taunton, Thomas Perry of FL, and Sean Perry of Somerset. He also leaves his sisters; Sheila Berthelette , Virginia Rogers, and Peggy Perry all of Taunton. Thomas also leaves his 14 loving grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Funeral services are private at the request of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
