Thomas Cunniff Obituary

In Rehoboth, October 15, 2025 Thomas M. Cunniff husband of the late Sandra (Viveiros) Cunniff died peacefully at the age of 84. Born in Dighton, Thomas was the son of the late Edward and Rose (Bryne) Cunniff. He was a graduate of Msgr. Coyle High School class of 1959. Thomas worked at the Providence Journal for over thirty years and was the prior co-owner of McGraths Café in Taunton. Thomas had the best sense of humor, he enjoyed golf, skiing, traveling and animals. He loved sports and was an avid Yankees fan. He was one of the most amazing people you could ever want to meet. His smile and laugh would light up any room he walked into. He made heartfelt connections with anyone he came in contact with. He always had a kind word of encouragement and a helping hand to anyone in need. He will not only be missed, but the world is dimmer without his light. He was the father of Marnie Cunniff-Boehner and her husband Ted of Raynham, Meredith Crapo of Douglas and Sharyn Cunniff of Ormond Beach, FL. Grandfather of Nathan Minnick of Brooklyn, NY, Thomas Minnick of Bend, Oregon, Benjamin Crapo of Douglas, Erinn and Brooke Boehner of Raynham and the late Delaney Crapo. Brother of Gerald Cunniff and his wife Janet of North Dighton and the late Edward Cunniff and his wife Antoinette of Troy, MI . Service for Thomas will be private.
