Susanne Marie (Ruane) Martello

In Taunton, July 3, 2025 Susanne Marie (Ruane) Martello wife of Eric Martello died suddenly in her home at the age of 57. Born in Norwood, Susanne was the daughter of Kathryn (Richard) Ruane and the late Bernard Ruane. She was a graduate of Coyle & Cassidy High School in Taunton class of 1986. Susanne was a loyal and hardworking employee for thirty one years at Martigrietti Company as a Human Resources Coordinator. She led a full and loving life, finding joy in simple pleasures and traditions. She loved taking day trips with her husband and dog. Spending Sunday afternoons with her mother, and proudly sharing stories about her daughter with anyone who would listen. Some of her favorite activities included listening to music, strawberry picking, and going up to camp in Maine with family. She found deep fulfillment in cooking her loved one’s favorite meals and opening her home to family and friends. She was the loving mother of Kaitlyn Ruane and soon to be son-in-law Jared Christiansen of No Attleboro. Sister of Terri Carlson and her husband Gary of Halifax. Aunt of Nicole Carlson and Joseph Carlson of Halifax. She is also survived by a father in-law Lawrence Martello of Brockton and many brother and sister in-law’s that she loved as her own family. Her dog Sasha and cat Loki. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St Ann’s Church, 675 No Main Street in Raynham on Saturday, July 12th at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers donations in Susanne's memory may be made to The Ray Tye Medical Aid Foundation, P.O. Box 850376, Braintree, MA, 02185 or rtmaf.org. Burial will be private.
