In Taunton, Stevy Crowther, age 73, passed away peacefully at Morton Hospital while surrounded by his loving family on March 20, 2026. Stevy was the husband of the late Karen (Sylvia) Crowther. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Roy Crowther and Elizabeth (Vieira) Crowther. Stevy had been a resident of North Attleboro the past 8 years and was formerly of Taunton. He was educated in Taunton schools and a graduate of Taunton High School. Stevy was employed at Taunton State Hospital for over twenty years as a aide and manager, he also worked as a manager of a local Sunoco Station. A communicant of St. Anthony’s Church in Taunton, before moving to North Attleboro. He enjoyed camping, watching sci-fi movies, playing chess, going to the car races, taking car trips to NH, watching his grandson play baseball, drawing and doing crafts, loved motorcycles since his childhood, spending time with family, especially his grandson “Little Guy”. Stevy is survived by his loving children Mikel Crowther and his wife Lynne of Taunton, and Mitzie Crowther and her partner Anthony Cogliandro of Middleboro. He also leaves his siblings Cindy Perreira and husband David of Bourne, Pearl Hale and husband Olin of Arizona. He also leaves his beloved Grandchildren Bri, Rae, Morgan, Anthony, Charlotte, Kayden, Nick, Emmy, and Great Grandchildren Gabe, Ezra, and Elias. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Wednesday, March 25th from 5-7 pm with a funeral home service at 6:30 pm.
