Robert Romani

In New Bedford, Robert Romani, age 88, passed away at Brandon Woods Nursing Home on June 13, 2024. Robert was born in Taunton , the son of the late Angelo Romani and Theresa (Bisio) Romani. Robert had been a resident of Raynham most of his life. He attended Taunton schools and was a graduate of the former Coyle High School. He worked as a farmer, was the owner of Romani Landscaping, Jack’s Agway, and the former owner of the Milk Bottle Restaurant in Raynham. Robert enjoyed working outside, hunting, gardening, hanging out and dining at his favorite place, the former Benjamin’s Restaurant in Taunton, and above all spending time with family and friends. Robert is survived by his children; Deborah Cananzey of Fall River, Elizabeth Romani of Taunton, and the late Nancy Mael. He also leaves his grandchildren; Amanda Romani of Plymouth, Ashley Mael of Plainville, Nicole Cananzey of Mansfield, Danielle Cananzey of Fall River, Robert Cananzey of Raynham, and Jennifer Costa of Bridgewater. He also leaves his 9 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren, and his brother John Romani and his wife Rhonda of Berkley, and the late Patricia Romani. A graveside service will be held at St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton on Friday, June 28th at 10 am. Visiting hours are kindly omitted.
