Robert M. Adams

In Taunton, Robert M. Adams, age 83, passed away at his home on January 21, 2025 while surrounded by his loving family. Robert is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Smith) Adams. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Charles Adams and Helen (Swerczyk) Adams. Robert was educated in Florida schools and later received his associate degree in criminal justice. He served his country during the Vietnam War while in the U.S. Army. Robert was employed for the City of Taunton for the Police Department until his retirement. He was a member of the P.A.C.C. and the Taunton Elk’s. Robert enjoyed wintering in Florida, RV-ing, camping, hunting, fishing, golfing, and cherished his time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was the father of Dawn Rice and her husband Walter of Taunton and Robert Adams and his wife of Linda of Halifax. Grandfather of Katelyn Gitin of Taunton and Allyson “Ally” Rice of Taunton. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton. His services are private at the request of the family.
