Robert Ferreira

In Raynham, Robert Ferreira, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home while surrounded by his loving family on December 28, 2025. Robert is survived by his loving wife Gail (Bumpass) Ferreira of Raynham. Robert was born in Taunton, the son of the late Serafim and Mary Ferreira. Robert was a lifetime resident of Taunton and Raynham and was educated in Taunton schools. He worked as a barber for 51 years, owning Colonial Barber Shop in Raynham. Bob was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Raynham. He enjoyed playing golf, doing yard work, and above all cherished his time with his wife, sons and grandchildren. One of his life lessons was “Nothing comes easy if it’s worth it”. In addition to his wife Gail, Bob leaves his beloved children Robert P. Ferreira and wife Terry of Swansea, Peter N. Ferreira and wife Dorothy of Taunton, Matthew P. Ferreira and wife Maricar of Merrimack, NH. He was the brother of his late 9 brother and one sister and leaves his surviving sister Evelyn Mastamorino. Robert leaves his eight loving grandchildren and six great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., in Taunton on Saturday January 24th from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann’s Church in Raynham at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
