Robert Brendan Adams

February 15, 1966 – October 29, 2025 Robert Brendan Adams, 59, of Taunton, Massachusetts, passed away on October 29, 2025. Born and raised in Taunton, Robert was a proud lifelong resident who built a life centered around hard work, family, and the simple joys of home. Robert was the devoted husband of Lisa Sebastyn, the beloved father of Brendan and his wife Jessica Costa, and Lindsay Adams. He is survived by his siblings Albert Adams and his wife Karen, Clare Elaine Levesque and her husband Ronald, Anna Goulet and her husband Gene, Nancy Brown and her husband Gerry. He also leaves behind his faithful dog Koda, who rarely left his side. A talented carpenter by trade, Robert took great pride in his craft building many homes throughout his career and leaving behind a legacy of skill, dedication, and integrity. Beyond his work, Robert found a happiness in the sky and on the road; he loved flying, traveling, and spending time at his family home in Five Islands, Nova Scotia, a place that held a special spot in his heart. He loved to be in the blueberry fields or on the beach eating clams. At home he enjoyed caring for his dog and his chickens, and he cherished the quiet, fulfilling moments of everyday life. Robert will be remembered for his generosity, strong work ethic, and gentle sense of humor. His love for his family and his ability to find joy in the simple things will continue to inspire all who knew him. Calling hours and funeral mass to honor Robert’s life will be held on Monday November 3, 2025 at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton Monday morning from 8:30-10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church in East Taunton at 11:30 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ronald McDonald House or American Heart Association.
