Richard Scully

In Fairhaven, Richard Scully, age 95, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026 at the Atria. He was the husband of the late Desiree (Rodgers) Scully. Richard was born in Taunton, the son of the late Vincent F. Scully and Eileen (Deveney) Scully. Richard lived most of his life in Taunton, he was educated in Taunton schools, and a graduate of the former Monsignor Coyle High School and Stonehill College. He served his country honorably while in the U. S Army. Richard worked for the former Paul E. Dever State School until his retirement. He enjoyed golfing, taking long car rides with his wife on Sunday’s, and spending time with family. Richard is survived by his brother Michael Scully of Fairhaven, and the brother of the late Vincent Scully Jr. and Barbara Scully. He also leaves many nephews, nieces and friends.
