Richard Gutterson

In Raynham, Richard Gutterson, age 97, passed away unexpectedly in his home on May 10, 2026 Richard was the husband of the late Beverly )Parker) Gutterson. He was born in Woodsville, NH, the son of the late Norman Gutterson and Thersa (Pope) Gutterson. Richard had resided in Raynham since 1972. He served his country honorably while in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as a manager in the banking industry and later for the Princess House in Dighton as a payroll manager. Richard enjoyed ten pin bowling and was a member of several bowling leagues, liked doing crossword puzzles, visiting the casino, and spending time with family and friends. Richard is survived by his devoted son Jeffrey Gutterson of Raynham, his grandchildren: Connor Gutterson and his partner Jaclyn Regan of Berkley, Adele Gutterson and husband Kenneth Dupont of Dighton , and Rachel Gutterson of Kingston, great grandchildren Carson Gutterson, Austin Gutterson, and Melia Dupont. He also leaves his brother Norman Gutterson and wife Judy of Amherst, NH. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Tuesday, May 26th from 6-8 pm.
