Paul Plumb III Obituary

In Fall River, Paul Plumb III, age 71, passed away peacefully at St. Ann’s Hospital in Fall River on March 9, 2025. Paul is survived by his beloved wife Susan (Pemberton) Plumb of Taunton. He was born in Boston, the son of the late Paul Plumb Jr. and Kathleen (Harrington) Plumb. Paul was a loving man. He is known by so many in Taunton because of his love of coaching softball. His Kids, grandkids, and great grandkids can tell you so many wonderful times they had, especially fishing. He loved to tease his grandchildren and they each had a special nickname he had assigned them. Every New Years Eve was a tradition to watch the Three Stooges, no matter how many times he watched, he would laugh at their antics. Paul was a toolmaker and was employed at the former Texas Instruments in Attleboro for many years. Paul was the President of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Paul started coaching softball while his kids were young. Paul and his wife, Susan, spent multiple hours on the fields. The family always went camping to spend quality time together. Paul loved going to Cape Cod, New Hampshire and Maine. Fishing, fishing, and more fishing were always the thing. He always caught and released. Each grandchild and great grandchild has their own special memory of their “Papa.” Paul would help anyone if he could. Paul had a smile that could turn anyone’s bad day into a good one. In addition to his loving wife Susan, Paul leaves his three children; Jessica Rodriguez, Andrea King, and Paul Plumb, as well as multiple grandchildren; Samantha, Kyleah, Kayden, Dalayah, Mason, Melinda, Liam, DJ, and the late Julian and great grandchildren; Logan and Liliana. Paul also leaves his two brothers Steve and Mike, his two sisters, Diane and Karen, and his late brother Danny who he will join in Heaven. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton. His day and time of the Mass of Christian Burial will be updated on the website soon.
