Onil Raymond Rodrigue

Onil Raymond Rodrigue, 82, of Raynham, passed away peacefully at home on June 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Taunton, he was the beloved son of the late Paul and Ora (Morin) Rodrigue. Onil was a devoted husband to Lenora Jeannette (Korlacki) Rodrigue, with whom he shared over 63 cherished years.
 Onil was educated in Taunton and dedicated many years of service as a dispatcher and plant manager for an asphalt company. He was a longtime member of St. Jean’s and lived a life full of warmth and laughter. 
 He had a passion for golf, enjoyed many trips to the casinos, taking yearly trips to Canada for maple sugaring and loved going on cruises and vacations with his wife, Lenora. Whether fishing, boating, or simply spending time with his family, Onil found joy in life’s simple pleasures and was happiest when surrounded by those he loved.
 In addition to his wife, Lenora, Onil is survived by his loving children: daughter Sharon Teixeira and her husband Joseph, and sons Kevin Rodrigue and Marc Rodrigue. He also leaves behind his siblings: Ronald Rodrigue and his wife Betty, Maurice Rodrigue and his wife Leah, and John Rodrigue and his late wife Debbie. He was preceded in death by siblings Norman Rodrigue, whose wife Cheryl survives him, Paul Rodrigue Jr. and his wife Joyce, and Marie Souza, whose husband Robert survives him. Onil was the proud grandfather of Melissa DeCastro, Matthew Teixeira, Emilee Rodrigue, Aimee Rodrigue, Haylee Rodrigue, and Lilee Rodrigue, and the adored great-grandfather of four. He is also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Onil’s larger than life personality, generosity, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with a service beginning at 1:30 PM.
