Mina Vieira

In Taunton, Mina Vieira, age 89, passed away at Morton Hospital on April 17, 2025 while surrounded by her loving family. Mina was preceded in death by her husband Frank Vieira. She was born in Madeira, Azores, the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria DeJesus. Mina has been a resident of Taunton for over 40 years and formerly of Portugal. She was educated in Portugal schools. Mina worked as a supervisor for the former Paul A. Dever State School in Taunton. She enjoyed traveling, cooking for her family, gardening and caring for her flowers, watching television, always having a new car, and above all spending time with her loving family. Mina leaves her two beloved daughters; Anna Ferreira of Taunton and Grace Collette and her husband Daniel of Attleboro. She also was the sister of the late Jose Vieira. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Wednesday, April 23rd from 9:30-11 am. A funeral home service will take place at 11 am. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
