Meghan Elizabeth Santos-Vaughan, age 33, passed away unexpectedly at her home on February 10, 2025. Meghan was the daughter of David Vaughan and the late Stacey Santos. She grew up in Taunton and was a 2009 graduate of Bristol-Plymouth Regional High School. Meghan worked at the Taunton Boys and Girls Club, and as a clerk in various retail stores. She loved dancing and enjoyed her years of dancing lessons, alongside her cousin, Katie. She also loved playing softball and was a member of the Taunton Girls Softball League and the Bristol-Plymouth Softball Team. In her spare time, Meghan enjoyed doing crafts, and camping with her extended family. In addition to her father, Meghan is survived by her partner, Sean Carvalho, her daughter, Mya, her sons, Christopher and Logan, and her grandfather, John “Jack” Santos, who along with his late wife, Doreen Santos, lovingly raised Meghan. She also leaves her aunts, Loretta Goldrick and her husband, Michael, Lisa Ross and her husband, Eric, Janet Vaughan, her uncles, Brian Vaughan and John Santos and his wife, Colleen, her cousins, Kara, Ashley and Katie Goldrick, who were also her best friends, Owen and Ethan Ross and John and Andrew Santos, her stepbrother, Troy Pereira, and life-long friend, Kaitlyn Bailey. Meghan was the granddaughter of the late George and Mary Vaughan, with whom, Meghan shared a special bond, filled with unconditional love. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 430 to 630 PM, followed by a prayer service at 630 PM.
