Margaret A. Wynne Obituary

Margaret “Peggy” Ann (Simpson) Wynne, age 77, passed away peacefully Friday, August 2nd, 2024, at the home of her daughter surrounded by her family. She was the former wife of Bruce Wynne of Taunton with whom she still shared a very special loving friendship with. She was born in Cambridge, MA on August 1st, 1947, to James F. Simpson and Alice M. (Strong) Simpson. She was predeceased by her parents as well as her loving brother Mark Simpson and all of her fur babies, Chelsea, Cameron and Caleb, all of whom who she adored. Peggy was the most selfless. caring, kind, and generous person to everyone she met. She was the first to offer help to a stranger and put a smile on your face. Her stories and sense of humor kept everyone laughing. She spent most of her time baking and shopping for others. Her famous blueberry muffins, brownie pizzas, cherry cheesecake and cranberry Christmas bread were fan favorites. Peggy took pride in her role as Gram to all the animals in her life. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her 5 granddaughters, “The Girls”, were the light of her life. She was always up for a new adventure. Trips to New York City, Maine and Foxwoods were her favorite. Holidays were filled with the most elaborate Thanksgiving spreads and Christmas baking. She never forgot a birthday and made everyone in her life feel so loved and special. A special Thank You to the caregivers from Compassionate Care Hospice who cared for her in her final days.
