Lucia Arruda

In Taunton, May 21st, 2025 Lucia Arruda died unexpectedly in her home at the age of 56. Born in Portugal, Lucia was the daughter of Jose Sousa and Lucia Sousa. She graduated Case High School in Swansea and was a diligent housekeeper at Morton Hospital in Taunton. Lucia loved the beach, her garden, animals and most importantly her family. She was adored by all, as her smile would light up any room. Lucia was the mother of Paul Lemelin of Swansea and Faith Lemelin of Dighton. The sister of Anna Silvia, Sandra Silva, Joe Sousa and Mario Sousa. Grandmother to Evangeline Lemelin. There will be a celebration of life held for Lucia Arruda at a later date.
