Linda Redmond Obituary

Linda M. (Nadeau) Redmond, June 23, 2026, age 75, of Taunton/Berkley, MA passed away peacefully at Morton Hospital. Born in Taunton, MA to Edmund J. and Nolia (Marvel) Nadeau. Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-five years William A. Redmond. Educated at Bishop Cassidy High School followed by Bridgewater State College she pursued a career as a teacher. She served many years as a beloved elementary school teacher at St. Mary’s Primary School. Linda was a faithful member of the Holy Union Associates where she grew life-long friendships. Her faith in Jesus Christ was steadfast, guiding her life daily. Linda had a love for the outdoors as evident by her numerous trips to the U.S. National Parks with her husband Bill. She had a great love for her family, cherishing the time she spent with each one of them. Survived by her son William “Andy” Redmond II and his wife Cora of Raynham, MA, and two grandchildren Hailey and Logan. Linda also leaves her siblings Edmund J. Nadeau Jr. of East Taunton, MA, William Nadeau of Taunton, MA, Debra Valdes and her husband James of Falmouth, MA, Margaret Alexander of Somerset, MA, Anna Bell and her husband Thomas of Georgia, and many nephews and nieces. Linda was the sister of the late Alfred J. Nadeau. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Wednesday, July 1st at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Anthony’s Church in Taunton at 10 AM. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-7 PM. Interment Nemasket Hill Cemetery in Middleboro. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Marian Manor, 33 Summer St., Taunton, MA 02780
