Kokovi Prisca Doevi

In Boston, Kokovi “Prisca” Doevi, age 44, passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital on June 26, 2026. She is survived by her beloved husband Dodzivi of Taunton. Prisca was born in Lome, Togo in West Africa, the daughter of Edoh Doevi and the late Kouwonou (Dope) Doevi. Kokovi “Prisca” had lived in Taunton since 2014 sine immigrating here from Africa. She was employed at DHL in Taunton working in the shipping department. Kokovi was a devoted and faithful woman with a strong faith. She enjoyed helping those in need, running her Non Profit Company, had strong Christian beliefs often praying for the sick and poor, and above all cherished her family here and in Africa. In addition to her husband Dodzivi, she leaves her loving children Marc and Christelle Mawumekou of Taunton. Her siblings Christophe and Philomne Doevi of Togo, West Africa. She also leaves many relatives and friends. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, July 6th from 5-7 pm. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home on Tuesday at 11 am. Burial will follow at Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
