Kathleen "Kathy" Moniz

In Taunton, Kathleen Moniz, age 72, passed away peacefully following a courageous battle with a terminal disease on April 3, 2024 in Morton Hospital. Kathleen was the wife of the late John Moniz. She was born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Raymond LaBelle and Virginia (Tevlin) LaBelle of Brockton. Kathleen was a resident of Berkley since 2016, and formerly of Attleboro. She attended Brockton schools and was a graduate of Brockton High School. Kathleen was a former employee of Hallsmith Sysco Food Services until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, going to the beach, loved her dog Mogley, and cherished her time with family and friends. Kathleen is survived by her grandson Jacob Moniz of Texas, step grandchildren, Paula Moniz and the late John Moniz Jr., her niece Heidi Howes,, Kathleen and Danielle, and nephews, David, Ray Kenny, and T.J.. She also leaves her brother Raymond Lofstrom of Abington and his wife Jane, and her late siblings David Lofstrom and Terrance LaBelle. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton, MA. Services are private at the request of the family.
