Karen LaPorte

In Fall River, Karen LaPorte, age 67, passed away at Charlton Memorial Hospital on May 31, 2026. Karen was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Albert LaPorte and Catherine (Conaty) LaPorte. Karen had resided in Fall River the past 6 years and was formerly of Berkley. She worked as a postal carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Karen was educated in Taunton schools and was a Taunton High School Graduate. She enjoyed being out in nature, loved animals, was an avid reader, going to the beach, her dog “Jada” and cherished her time with her grandchildren. Karen is survived by her beloved children: Megan Pacheco of Taunton, Clay Pacheco of Taunton, Sam Pacheco of Taunton, Jessica Pacheco of Fall River, and Arielle Pacheco of Fall River. She also leaves her eight Grandchildren, and siblings: Donna McMahon of CT, Barry LaPorte of Provincetown, and Joyce LaPorte of Fall River. A graveside service will be held at St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton on Monday, June 15th at 11 am. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
