Jean C. Wotherspoon

Jean C. (Buckley) Wotherspoon of Dumfries, VA, formerly of Taunton, MA, passed away on July 2, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 8, 1930, she was the wife of the late Donald A. (Rock) Wotherspoon, to whom she was married for 53 years. She is survived by her daughters, Donna J. Dobrowski and her husband Edmund of Middleboro and Diane C. Taggart and her husband Douglas of Dumfries, VA. Jean was a loving grandmother to her six grandchildren, Tyler, Sarah, Terrance, Kaitlin, Trevor and Scott and to her twelve great grandchildren. Jean graduated from St Mary’s High School and once her children were grown worked for many years as a receptionist at Morton Hospital in Taunton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Ann’s Church in Raynham on Tuesday, July 14th at 10 AM followed by a committal service at St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
