Jean Audrey (Woods) Locurto

Taunton-Jean Audrey Woods Locurto 92 , died peacefully Monday at Wedgemere Nursing Home, Taunton the day after observing her birthday. Born in Brockton on Nov. 1,1933 ,Jean was the daughter and only child of the late Raymond W. and Mildred E. Farrell Woods. She was raised in Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School. After graduation she was hired by N. E. Telephone and worked as a long distance telephone operator for many years. She was the widow of the late Robert S. Woodman and Salvatore J. Locurto,Sr.. Mrs. Locurto is survived by many cousins in the Taunton/Brockton area. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Nov. 6,2025 at O’Keefe Funeral Home,70 Washington St. ,Taunton from 10:00-11:00 AM.with a service following at 11 AM. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery,483 N. Main Street, Rte 28 ,W. Bridgewater ,Mass. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Jean may be made to a charity of your choice.
