Jayne Violet Daly, 84, of Raynham, MA, and Naples, FL, passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2025, surrounded by the love and devotion of the family she spent her life building. Born in Old Town, Maine, and raised in Bangor, Jayne was the daughter of the late Basil and Evelyn (Hardy) Jordan. She carried the values of her Maine upbringing—kindness, resilience, and a quiet strength, into her long career with the Randolph School Department. As the administrative heart of her school, Jayne was a dedicated advocate for every student who walked through the door. She was far more than an office presence; she was a source of encouragement and a steady hand. The depth of her kindness is felt even today through the many former students who still share stories of how her support and influence made a difference in their lives. Jayne’s greatest pride was her 58-year marriage to her beloved late husband, Edward Daly. Together, they created a foundation of love that extended to their daughters and grandchildren. In 1994, they settled in Raynham, and by 2000, they began a beautiful second chapter in Naples, Florida. She was often found taking long walks in the Florida warmth, lost in a book on her lanai, or sharing her friendly spirit with colleagues and customers at Home Depot. Whether in the crisp air of Massachusetts or the warmth of Florida, Jayne’s home was always a place of comfort and connection. Jayne’s memory will be cherished by her daughters, Danyel MacKillop and her husband Don, and Melissa Ramos and her husband Everardo, all of Raynham. She was the “Nana” who took immense pride in her grandchildren: Samuel MacKillop, Sydney MacKillop (and fiancé John Shannon), and Kayley Ramos. She also leaves behind a close-knit circle of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her gentle presence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 20, 2025 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 675 North Main St., Raynham, MA 02767. Interment will follow at 12:45 p.m. at: Bourne National Cemetery Connery Avenue
