Jay Easton St. John

Jay Easton St. John, age 66, of Blackstone, Massachusetts, passed away in June 28, 2026. Born on May 14, 1960, in Ohio, Jay was the son of Marilyn Katherine St. John and the late Richard Arnold St. John. Jay will be remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He had a passion for gardening, enjoyed collecting, and was an avid fan of science fiction. He especially loved celebrating the holidays, with Christmas and Halloween holding a special place in his heart. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren, who brought him endless joy. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the love he shared with those closest to him. Jay is survived by his son, Collin Easton St. John; his daughter-in-law, Cathryn Marie St. John; his beloved grandchildren, Caitlyn Rose St. John, Marilyn Marie St. John, and Benjamin Eric St. John; his mother, Marilyn Katherine St. John; his brothers, Scott St. John and Kent St. John; his sister, Joy Baber; his extended family; and many dear friends, especially Dan and Tina, whose friendship meant so much to him. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Arnold St. John, and his daughter, Caitlin Marie St. John. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton with calling hours on Wednesday, July 8th from 9:30-11 AM. Interment will be at Timothy Plains Cemetery in Norton. A celebration of Life will also be held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at a later date. Additional details will be shared once arrangements have been finalized. Jay’s family will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. His love, kindness, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
