Helena M McCoy

In Taunton, Helena M. McCoy, age 63, passed away peacefully at home on January 30, 2025 following a lengthy battle with cancer. Helena was born in Winchester, the daughter of the late Frank P. McCoy and Barbara (Kennedy) McCoy, and leaves her step mother Beverly McCoy-Morgan of Raynham. Helena had resided in Taunton the past ten years and formerly of Raynham and Stoneham. Helena attended schools in Stoneham, graduated from Bridgewater Raynham High School, and attended of Bridgewater State College, and also attending, U. Cal Northridge and the University of Texas Plano. Helena was employed as an auditor for the Medtronics Company until her health allowed. She enjoyed sports, especially golf and football; she will be remembered as the glue that kept the entire family together, often organizing gatherings with them. Helena is survived by her Sister Cristina Gizzi of Hollywood, FL, and Brother Michael McCoy and his companion Connie Freeman who lovingly cared for her in her most trying moments. She is also survived by her niece Victoria Gizzi. Special thanks to my amazing neighbors on Country Way for all there support and assistance.
