Heduino Almeida Obituary

In Fall River, Heduino M. Almeida, age 66, passed away St. Ann’s Hospital on October 10, 2024 following a period of declining health while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, the son of the late Antonio Almeida and Maria Do Carmo Luz Almeida. Heduino was a resident of Fall River recently and was a longtime resident of Taunton after immigrating form Sao Miguel in the Azores. He was employed as a carpenter until his health declined. Heduino enjoyed listening to music, playing games on his phone, and was a dedicated hard worker who loved his family. Heduino is survived by his children; Ruben Almeida and his wife Monica of Taunton, Telmo Almeida and his wife Cindy of New Bedford, and Eduino Almeida and his wife Kasandra of Assonet. He also leaves his beloved grandchildren; Ruben Jr., Xavier, Nathan, Jazlynn, Jayda, Logan, and Liam. He also leaves his siblings; Natividade Rodrigues, Dina Melo, Conceicao Furtado, Paulo Roberto and Eduardo Almeida all of Taunton, and Antonio Almeida and Rita Almeida of Portugal. Funeral from the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Wednesday, October 16th at 10 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony’s Church at 11 am. Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 5-7 pm. Burial will be at Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton. Arrangements are under the direction of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
