Gerald Hunsberger

In Taunton, Gerald Hunsberger, age 65, passed away at Morton Hospital on March 6, 2024 following a period of failing health. Gerald is survived by his wife Claudia (Martin) Orsao-Martin of Bridgewater, and son Joseph Hunsberger of Bridgewater. He was born in Boston, the son of the late Leonard Hunsberger and Eleanor (Conti) Hunsberger. Gerald had resided in Taunton the past 7 years, and was formerly of Hingham. He was raised in Hyde Park and educated in Boston schools. Gerald was employed in many Boston Hospitals in security. Gerald played in many high school sports teams, especially baseball where he show cased his ninety mile an hour fastball. He also enjoyed watching sports, and spending time with his family and friends. Gerald is survived by his siblings; Michael Hunsberger of Taunton, Kathy Shea of Taunton, Lenny Hunsberger of Taunton, Nancy Hunsberger of Middleboro, Nancy Hunsberger, and Maria Ingram of VA. He also leaves his Aunt, Jo Anne Conti of Weymouth, his cousins, Gino and Christine Conti, as well as many other cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services are private at the request of the family.
