Gavin Patrick Curley of Raynham, MA died on December 22, 2024, from an extended illness. Gavin was born in Boston, MA on June 11, 1963, to the late James Michael Curley and Margaret (Peg) Curley. He is survived by his sons Kevin Curley and Patrick Curley of Taunton, MA, and his four siblings Deborah Tyszkiewicz and James Michael Curley of Raynham MA, Katherine Curley of Duxbury, MA and Karen Curley of Stoughton, MA. He is also survived by his nephew William Tyszkiewicz of New Bedford, MA, and his niece Maggie Long of Virginia, as well two great-nephews, many cousins and his former wife, Maria Curley of Centerville, MA. Gavin graduated from Blue Hills Regional Technical High School where he participated in several sports and was inducted into the Blue Hills Hall of Fame. He graduated from college at UMass Dartmouth, receiving a degree in electrical engineering and went on to receive an MBA from Nichols College. Gavin had a full 40-year career as an electrical engineer, with his most recent 22 years at Eversource working as a lead engineer and project manager. Gavin enjoyed many things, including coaching and volunteering within the Raynham Giants town football and baseball programs, all Boston sports - particularly the New England Patriots, golfing, music, traveling, camping, and spending time with family and friends. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. There will be a public wake at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA on Saturday, January 18, 2024. Visiting hours are between the hours of 12-230 followed by a short funeral service at the funeral home.
