Gail Quinn Obituary

In Taunton, Gail Quinn, age 84, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by her loving family on April 19, 2026. Gail was born in Bar harbor, Maine, the daughter of the late Leslie Pendleton and Annie (Colbath) Pendleton. Gail worked as a mental health worker, working with adults and adolescents. She also ran a day care in the 1970’s and the 1980’s. Gail loved sports, bird watching, and fishing. A true bookworm at heart, she found comfort in reading and quiet moments. She took pride in her appearance and never left the house without doing her makeup, always carrying herself with care and attention to detail. She loved her pets deeply and had a special place in her heart for all animals, and people too, never hesitating to take in strays and care for anyone in need. With a nurturing spirit, she became a mother figure to many. She also had a love for Silverado trucks, a small but meaningful part of who she was. Gail is survived by her three children: Jo A. Quinn of Taunton, Russell B. Bean of Augusta, GA, and her late daughter Loretta M. Bean of Taunton, her grandchildren: Dennis McWhinnie, Richard Bean, James Bean, Rosilyne Trum, Brittany Tessier, Nick Bean, Jarrod Kamps and Allison Quinn. She also leaves several great grand children and many great great grand children. Gail also leaves her siblings: Les Pendleton and his wife Susan of FL, Rodney Pendleton and wife Laurie of Middleton, Richard Pendleton and wife Linda of LA, Sheila Pendleton and her late husband Theodore Carney of North Andover, Mark Pendleton and wife Mary of South Boston, and Edward Quinn and wife Linda of Peabody. Funeral services are private at the request of the family.
