In Raynham, Frederick “Freddie” Boehner, a beloved husband of 59 years to the late Margaret “O’Neill” Boehner, passed away on August 13, 2024, after a brief illness, while surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 1, 1937, he was the son of the late Gerald and Anna (Masterson) Boehner. Frederick was a lifelong Taunton resident who graduated from Taunton High School in 1955, where he was a basketball standout. He was a proud member of the U.S. Navy stationed in Key West, Florida, from 1955-1958. He was later employed by United Parcel Service for over thirty years. Frederick’s Catholic faith was important to him, and he was a member of St. Jude’s the Apostle Church. He was a lifelong member of the Elk’s and the John F. Parker Golf Course. Freddy was a hard-working, friendly man with a witty sense of humor who could always bring a smile to those he knew. He enjoyed playing and watching golf, having coffee with the guys at the donut shop, traveling to Florida with his friends, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Frederick “Ted” Boehner, and his wife, Marnie Cunniff-Boehner of Raynham; daughter Patricia Winslow; and her husband, Jake Winslow of Rochester, and Frederick’s grandchildren, Erinn, Brooke, Tessa, and Brock. He was also brother of the late James Boehner and Joyce Boehner Fuller, as well as many family and friends who loved and will miss him. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton. As per Frederick’s request, services are private.
