Edwin Paige Jr.

In Taunton, Edwin Paige Jr., age 72, passed away suddenly at Morton Hospital on September 25, 2025. Edwin leaves his beloved wife Patricia (Mendes) Paige of Dighton. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Edwin Paige and Elizabeth (Simmons) Paige. Edwin was resident of Dighton and formerly of Taunton and Raynham. He was educated in Raynham schools and a graduate of Bridgewater Raynham High School. Edwin also received his Civil Engineering degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He was a retired Civil Engineer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for thirty years. Edwin enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working on cars, collecting antiques, visiting New Hampshire, and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife Patty, Edwin leaves his brother Herbert Paige and wife Jeannette of Taunton, his brother and sister in laws Charles Mendes and wife Diane of Lee, MA, Jeanne Meimarides and husband Steven of Mansfield, Paul Mendes and wife Micheala of East Taunton, Lucy Gearty and husband Tim of Norwood. Edwin also leaves his nieces and nephews Herbert Paige Jr. and wife Angela of N.J., Melissa Mendes, Amy Montgomery Nassis, Benjamin Meimarides, and Amanda Ivy, as well as several friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 2nd at 11 am at Annunciation of the Lord Church in Taunton. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s cemetery in Taunton.
