In Brockton, Earl Adkins, age 86, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital on January 23, 2024 following a brief illness. Earl is survived by his beloved wife Nancy (Gorden) Adkins of Raynham. He was born in West VA., the son of the late Rozel Adkins and Lilly May (Parsons) Adkins. Earl had been a resident of Raynham since 1959 and was formerly of West Virginia. He was educated in West VA schools and served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a furniture salesman for several local businesses including the former Baron Furniture in Taunton. Earl had many interest but helping those in need while involved in AA was what brought him much fulfillment for almost 40 years. He also cherished the time spent with his family and friends. Earl leaves his children; Jeffrey Adkins of Raynham, Ronald Adkins of Amesbury, MA, Keith Adkins of East Taunton, Thomas Adkins and his wife Tina of Wareham, and his late son Craig Adkins. He also leaves his grandchildren; Christopher, Karl, John, Heather, Hannah, and 5 great grandchildren, He was also the brother of Hearl Adkins of W. VA, and Nancy Marie Napier of W. VA. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton. Earl’s services are private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers donation in Earl’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
