Doris "Dolly" (Harper) Nunes Reissfelder

Doris (Dolly) Nunes Reissfelder, age 94, passed away on January 4, 2025 at Lifecare Center of Attleboro. She was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada on May 23, 1930, to the late Oscar and Sylvia (LeBrun) Harper. She was raised in Trenton, Nova Scotia, Canada, and came to Taunton, Massachusetts at the age of sixteen. Dolly is survived by her brother, Ronald Harper of Taunton; two sons, Donald Nunes and wife Laurel of Naples, Florida, and Kevin Nunes and wife Deborah of Taunton, along with five granddaughters, two grandsons, five great-granddaughters and five great-grandsons. She is also survived by stepson Leonard Reissfelder and stepdaughter Cheryl Tullio. She was predeceased by her first husband, David Nunes and second husband Leonard Reissfelder. She was also predeceased by her sons David Nunes and Robert Nunes; her brothers Russell Harper and Robert Harper and her sister Joan Shirley Murphy. Dolly worked from the time she arrived in the U.S. from Canada, beginning at Swanks in Attleboro and later at Robertson Curtain Factory in Taunton. Her final job, that she enjoyed so much was in the cafeteria at Bristol Plymouth Regional Technical High School in Taunton. She enjoyed family gatherings throughout her life. After retiring, she moved to Florida with her second husband Lenny. They spent twenty active years together dancing, golfing, and traveling. Services will be private for the family and held at a later date.
