In Falmouth, Delmo Ferrari, age 92, passed away at Falmouth Hospital on November 22, 2025. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Ralph Ferrari and Angela (Gatti) Ferrari. Del attended Taunton schools. He served his country during the Korean War while in the U.S. Navy. He was the owner and operator of Del’s Hairstyling and Cutting Salon, Inc. in Taunton for more than fifty years. Later in life he moved to Falmouth where he lived for over fifty years, he loved Falmouth, and relaxing in his yard. Del loved to work in his garden, he enjoyed dancing, watching old movies and shooting, and especially playing golf. Traveling to visit his cousins in Italy. He was a funny guy, with a warm smile, always making people laugh where ever he went, be it the post office, the bank, or his accountant’s office. He was the brother of Alba Ferrari and Eva Quellette. Del is survived by his longtime friend of over 45 years, Kathy Whitebred of Chatham, her three sons Michael, Kevin, and Matthew Lima. The running joke was that their family adopted Del, they were more than friends, Del was family. He also leaves his friends Carol Frenier and Christopher Sulmonte and his beloved dog Toosie. Funeral home visitation will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, December 1st from 10-11 am with a funeral service at 11 am His burial will be in the family lot in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
