Deborah Roy

In Taunton, January 2, 2026 Deborah "Debbie" Roy daughter of the late Wilfred and Joan (Reilly) Roy Jr. died suddenly in her home at the age of 73. Born in Taunton, Debbie was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1973. She was a retired kitchen worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She was a member of St Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton. Deb will be missed by her sisters, nieces, nephews and her many friends at the Richard DeWert Terrace. She enjoyed baking, cooking and especially watching the Boston Red Sox. Deb was the sister of Marie Nickerson of Rowley, MA, Catherine “Cathy” Machado of Taunton and the late Joan Nunes, Willie Roy III his surviving wife Lee Roy and John Roy. Niece of Barbara Pierce of No Dighton and Patricia Baker of Norton. Aunt of several niece and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton this spring at a time and date to be announced.
