Dean D Hill

    In Plymouth, Dean D. Hill passed away unexpectedly at Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth on January 9, 2025. Dean was born in Taunton, the son of the late Wesley Hill and Avis (Galligan) Hill.

     Dean had resided in Carver for over 20 years and was formerly of Taunton. He attended Taunton schools and was a Taunton High School Graduate, class of 1976. Dean worked mainly as a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed watching and playing basketball, fishing, flea markets and antiquing, and spending time with family and friends.

     Dean is survived by his siblings; Wesley Hill and his late wife Linda of Derry, NH, Denise Mauricio of Fall River, Robin Rocha and husband David of Raynham, Brian Hill and wife Nancy of Bourne, Frederick Hill and his companion Susan Medeiros of Taunton, and Roland Hill and wife Mary of Taunton. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and friends.

     A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Thursday, January 16th at 11 am. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours on Wednesday from 5-7 pm.
