David W.C. Rose

In Boston, David Rose, age 76, passed away at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital while surrounded by his loving family on January 18, 2025. David was preceded in death by his wife Anita (Charette) Andrade. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Alfred Rose and Ruth (Marchant) Rose. David was a lifetime resident of Taunton. He was educated in Taunton schools. He served his country honorably while in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. David worked for auto dealerships in the transport division. He enjoyed fishing, cooking for his family, hunting, playing cards, playing the harmonica, and spending time with his family. David is survived by his two sons, Dennis Andrade of Taunton, Scott Rose and his partner Nancy Marotte of Taunton and his late son Alan Moreau. He also leaves his loving grandchildren, Julianna Andrade, Kayla Andrade, Jeremy Moreau, Renee Lourenco, Katie Moreau-Stable and great grandchildren, Amy, Piper, Anthony and Caleb. He also leaves his siblings, Janice Labrecque, Ruth Ann Rose, Helen Pelletier, Debbie Faria, Ronald Rose, Raymond Rose, and the late Alfred Rose, Gerald Rose, Thomas Rose, Philip Rose, Barry Rose, Linda Coelho. His sister in-law Linda Rezendes of Taunton. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Thursday, January 23rd from 5-7 pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th at St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton at 11 am. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
