David M. Ferreira

In Fall River, of Somerset October 16, 2024 David M. Ferreira husband of Irene (Aguar) Ferreira died at St Ann’s Hospital at the age of 69. Born in Sao Miguel, Portugal, David was the son of Adelino and Almarinda (Martins) Ferreira. David was retired from the former General Dynamics in the painting and shipping department for thirty one years. He enjoyed coaching softball for Princess House and watching all local Boston sports teams, gardening and working on the farm. He was the father of Dianne Pereira and her husband Mark of Ontario, Canada and the late David Ferreira. Grandfather of Steven, Andrew Pereira and Madison Gaften all of Canada. Brother of Maria DeMello and her husband John of Berkley. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Monday, October 21st from 5-7 PM followed by a service at 7 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in David’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 38 Chauncy Street, STE 700, Boston, MA, 02111.
