It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family of Chelsea Lynn Carvalho announce her passing on November 15, 2024 at the age of 34. She will be eternally missed by all who knew and loved Chelsea. Originally from Taunton, MA, Chelsea was a long time resident of Massachusetts. Upon graduating from Portsmouth (RI) High School where she excelled in the arts, she went on to attend Community College of RI. An intelligent, inquisitive and passionate woman, Chelsea was an early female pioneer in the gaming community after which she immersed herself into computers and made great strides in the IT field where she continued to freelance through the years. Those familiar with her work were consistently amazed by her knowledge and outside the box creative solutions. Chelsea was an outgoing, eclectic and caring woman who deeply loved her family and friends in addition to her many cats. She will be remembered as incredibly kind, clever and opinionated with a larger than life personality. She was a passionate self-taught artist who enjoyed chronicling her life experiences in her journals as well as her world travels. She is survived by her father, David Carvalho, mother Laurie Muncy (Berube), sister Coreen Nelson, niece Avery, nephew Devin, maternal grandmother Juanita Martinez of Texas, maternal grandfather John Berube of Taunton as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother Virginia DaMotta and paternal grandfather John DaMotta. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to services which will be held on November 30th 2024 at O’Keefe-Wade Funeral home from 2pm-4pm.
