Charlotte Westgate

In Taunton, Charlotte Westgate, age 86, passed away in Morton Hospital following a brief illness on December 13, 2023. Charlotte was the wife of the late John Westgate of Berkley. She was born in Berkley, the daughter of the late George and Pearl Crimlisk.
Charlotte was a lifetime resident of Berkley. She attended both Dighton and Berkley schools. Charlotte was a Town of Berkley employee for 30 years while working in the school cafeteria. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, volunteering at the Happy Hearts Club in Berkley, and above all cherished her time with family.
Charlotte is survived by her beloved children; James Westgate of Berkley, Deborah Connors and her husband Charles of Attleboro, Annette Zahar and husband Thomas of Lakeville, Linda Pasquill and husband William of Dighton, and Valerie Leach and husband Sean of Westport, and the late Denis Westgate. She also leaves her loving grandchildren; Kilyn, William, Sarah, Alex and great grandson Maddox, and also several step grandchildren. Charlotte was the sister of the late George Crimlisk Jr., Russell Crimlisk, Frederick Crimlisk, Frances DeCosta, and Emily Rose. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the O’Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Thursday, Dec 21st at 10 am. Burial will be in Fox Cemetery in Berkley. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 5-7 pm.
