Charles J. Grady Jr

In Taunton, June 12, 2024 Charles J. Grady Jr. husband of Virginia (Roy) Grady of sixty seven years died at Morton Hospital at the age of 92. Born in Brockton, Charles was the son of the late Charles J. and Una (Kelleher) Grady Sr.. Charles was a graduate of Coyle High School class of 1949, he was also graduated from Holy Cross in 1953 and in 1957 was a graduate with honors from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from medical school Charles enlisted into the U.S. Navy dental internship at the U.S. Naval hospital in Great Lakes, Ill. Charles owned his own dental practice in Taunton from 1961 retiring in 2000. Charles loved going Cape Cod, playing the piano, gardening, traveling, his wine, volunteering at Park news and especially spending time with his family and friends. He was the father of Deborah Almeida and her husband Dennis of Raynham, Mark Grady of Taunton and Brian Grady and his wife Cathy of Barnstable. Grandfather of Nicholas Almeida and his wife Elena of Bellingham, Sarah Almeida and her fiancé Bobby Tzaneros of Mansfield. Great Grandfather of Ashton Almeida of Bellingham. Brother of Paul Grady and his partner Brenda Murray-Wall of Attleboro and the late Michael R. Grady, Maureen (Grady) Scully and Daniel J, Grady Sr. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Monday, June 17th from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by a funeral Mass at St Anthony’s Church in Taunton at 11 AM. Interment at St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
