Charles E. Witkus

In Raynham, suddenly November 26, 2024 Charles E. Witkus husband of the late Karen (Bevis) Witkus and Cherie (Poole) Witkus died at Morton Hospital at the age of 78. Born in Boston, Charles was the son of the late Frank and Helen (Rogers) Witkus. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Air force and was a member of the Raynham American Legion post 405. Charles enjoyed having his weekly coffee dates with his lovely daughter Melissa going to Twin Rivers Casino, going on cruises, traveling, playing poker at the legion with his friends, he loved watching the Red Sox and the New England Patriots, Popponesset Beach and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Charles was the father of Charles Witkus and his wife Andreia of East Wareham, Christopher Witkus of N.C. and Melissa Witkus of Taunton. Step father of David and his wife Amy, Jason, Steven and his wife Melanie Poole. Grandfather of Cassidy and Ryan Witkus and several adored great grandchildren and step grandchildren. Brother of Frank Witkus and his wife Sheila of Medford and John Witkus and his wife Lisa of Mashpee. A Celebration of life will be held at the American Legion, 291 Mill Street in Raynham on Sunday December 8th from 2-5 PM.
