Carolann Payne

In Taunton, Carolann Payne, age 78, passed away at Wedgemere Healthcare while surrounded by those that loved her on September 24, 2025. Carolann was born in Boston, Mission Hill, the daughter of the late Thomas Payne and Frances (Morrissey) Payne. Carolann was educated in Boston schools and was proud of her neighborhood, Mission Hill. She had been a Taunton resident since 1991. Carolann worked as a printer and repair person for Dickenson Direct Mailing and Pro Medex. She enjoyed her dogs, going on boat rides in Plymouth, playing cards, dining out, having cookouts with her friends. Carolann is survived by her siblings; Arlene O’Hea of East Bridgewater, Linda Connolly and husband John of Littleton, MA, Deborah Connolly and husband James of Westford and Paul Payne, and her late siblings; Joan Payne, John Payne, Leslie Payne, Raymond Payne, Robert Payne, Thomas Payne, David Payne, Geraldine McSorley and Sandra Boudreau. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, her dog Minnie Mae and countless friends. A graveside service will be held at St. Francis Cemetery, North Walker Street on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 11 am.
