Carol Medeiros

In Boston, Carol Medeiros, age 78, passed away in Brigham & Women's Hospital following a brief illness on December 5, 2023. Carol was the wife of Ronald Oliveira of Taunton. She was born in Dighton, MA, the daughter of the late Thomas McCarthy Sr. and Josephine (Milka) McCarthy.
Carol resided all her life in Taunton. She was educated in Taunton schools and a graduate of Taunton High School, and also Bristol Community College in Fall River. Carol enjoyed camping, walks on the beach, watching the Red Sox and Patriots, wintering in Florida, loved her dog Chloe and above all cherished her time with family.
In addition to her loving husband Ronald, Carol leaves her children, Michael Medeiros and his wife Lina of Taunton, and Susan Medeiros and her wife Fran Kochman of Attleboro. She also leaves her grandchildren; Emily, Nicole, Millie and Lucy, her late brother Thomas McCarthy and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the O'Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, December 11th at 9:30 am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church in Norton at 11 am. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 3-5 pm. Burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Taunton.
