In Middleboro, Brenda Labrie, age 86, passed away at home peacefully on June 18, 2026. Brenda leaves her loving and devoted husband William Labrie of Middleboro, formerly of Taunton. She was born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Joseph Moncey and Alice (O’Leary) Moncey. Brenda was educated in Avon schools and a graduate of Stonehill College in North Easton. She worked as a teacher for the Town of Abington, and also as a medical assistant. Brenda enjoyed quilting, gardening, traveling with her husband, and spending time with her family, especially her Grandson. In addition to her husband, Brenda leaves her beloved sons Paul Labrie and his wife Fatima of Rehoboth, and Steven Labrie of Middleboro. Her cherished Grandson William Labrie, her siblings: Luice McCormack of Mattapoisett, John Moncey of Tennessee, and the late Jean Roby, Nacy Dame, and Paul Moncey. A graveside service will be held at St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton on July 1st at 11 am. Visiting hours are kindly omitted.
