In Taunton, March 31, 2024 Bente (Lauritzen) Jorgensen daughter of the late Valdemar and Vilma (Nielsen) Lauritzen. Bente was born and educated in Denmark, moving to the United States in January 7, 1961. Bente received her associates degree at Massasoit Community College to be a Lab Technician. She was a retired Lab Technician for Texas Instruments in Attleboro. She enjoyed gardening, traveling painting and spending time with her family. Bente was the mother of Lola Mello of Wareham, Nanna Jorgensen and her husband Saeed Dariush-Hamedani of Taunton, Birte Jorgensen and her husband Guido Hardt of NY and Ronald Jorgensen and his wife Nete Kaastrup of Denmark. Grandmother of Amber Mello of Wareham, Navid Darius of Taunton, Omid Darius of Taunton, Harpo Hardt of NY, Shayna Jorgensen of RI, Thomas Jorgensen of No Attleboro and Thit and Liv Kaastrup both of Denmark. Great Grandmother of Andres, Piper, Timothy, Thomas and Mckayla. Stster of Tom Thomsen of Denmark. A ceremony will be held at 365 Tremont Street in Taunton on April 20th from 2-7 PM.
