In Norton, December 15, 2006 Arthur Deveney died after a brief illness at age 85, Husband of the late Ellen (Travers) Deveney. Residence Mansfield Ave. in Norton, formerly of Orchard St. in Taunton. Loving father of Judy Robertson of Averill Park in N.Y. Grandfather of Coleen McElroy of Taunton, Julie Robertson of Providence, R.I. Brother of the late Marjorie Schwed, Eileen Scully, Charles & Edward Deveney. Also survived by his nephews Richard, Vincent & Michael Scully. Funeral from the O'Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. Taunton, Ma. 02780 on Monday, December 18th at 10am. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church in Taunton at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sun. from 2-4pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery in Taunton Donations in Arthur's memory may be made to the U.S.O. of New England, Inc.
