In Taunton, Anthony “Tony” E. Costa, age 70, passed away at his home unexpectedly on March 7, 2024. Anthony was the husband of the late Rhonda (Cornell) Costa of Taunton. He was born in Taunton, MA, the son of Lori Costa of San Diego, and his late father Anthony Costa. Anthony was a Taunton resident for most of his life and also San Diego, CA. He worked as the Environmental Services Supervisor for Sturdy Hospital in Attleboro for over 40 years. Anthony enjoyed going to the beach where he did metal detecting, he was an avid collector of war memorabilia, and enjoyed spending time with family. Tony leaves his beloved children; Anthony “Tony” Costa of Chicago, and Sandra Chown and her husband Jared of East Taunton. He also leaves his grandchildren; Brynn, Ryleigh, and Oliver, his brother Jon Costa of San Diego, and several nieces and nephews. Services are private at the request of the family.
